Disability Policy & DEIJ Statement

DISABILITY POLICY

Coaches for Good supports individuals with disabilities and is committed to making reasonable adjustments so that disabled individuals can take part fully in the Programme. Coaches for Good does not discriminate on the basis of disability and is committed to equal opportunity for all. We make reasonable adjustments in line with the Equality Act 2010. If you have any questions about this policy, or wish to request an adjustment, please contact Pam Rigden at team@coachesforgood.co.uk.

ACCOMMODATING LEARNING DIFFERENCES

Our goal is to create a learning environment that meets the needs of each individual trainee. We are able to make a range of adjustments for learning differences and disabilities to make our Programme more accessible. Please contact Pam Rigden at team@coachesforgood.co.uk before enrolling so that we can discuss whether your needs can be met.

DEIJ STATEMENT

Coaches for Good endorses the ICF Statement of Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Justice, approved by the ICF Global Board of Directors in July 2020.

Diversity, inclusion, belonging and justice are central to who we are. Coaches for Good exists to widen access to the coaching profession, and we place these principles at the forefront of the decisions we make as an organisation and in the design and delivery of our Programme. We value the unique talents, insights and experiences that every trainee, coach and client brings, and we are committed to removing the barriers that keep people from entering the profession.

NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY

It is the policy of Coaches for Good that:

  • Recruitment and engagement of all personnel is conducted without discrimination against any individual on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
  • No member of staff or personnel will discriminate against any employee or trainee on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
  • All individuals are welcome to take part in the Programme regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
  • All employees, trainees and other participants should be able to learn and work in an environment free of discrimination and harassment, including on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation. We do not and will not tolerate conduct by any employee, trainee, volunteer, contractor, visitor or supplier that unreasonably interferes with an individual's ability to learn in a welcoming environment.

Anyone who wishes to report discrimination is encouraged to follow our Complaint / Grievance Policy. Coaches for Good will promptly investigate all claims and reports of inappropriate conduct.
