Participation Policy & Code of Conduct
Success in our Programme requires full commitment from every Trainee. By enrolling, you agree to be fully present during all sessions and to participate to the best of your ability. This includes arriving on time, abiding by the Code of Conduct, and engaging in all Programme activities.
ATTENDANCE
Attending the live elements of the Programme is essential, both to your learning and to meeting the requirements for completion. The full completion requirements are set out in our Terms and Conditions. This policy explains what we expect of you in terms of attendance, and what happens if you are unable to attend.
Live training (24 hours)
At least 20 of the 24 hours of live training must be attended live. If you have an emergency or become ill and cannot attend, please contact team@coachesforgood.co.uk as soon as possible. You may complete up to 4 hours, and no more, by watching the recording and submitting the associated work within 4 weeks of the session you missed. If you miss more than 4 hours of live training you will not be able to complete the Programme with your group, and we will discuss with you whether you can join a later group.
Group mentor coaching (7 sessions)
All 7 group mentor coaching sessions must be attended. If you miss one, you will need to book a further individual mentor coaching session to make it up, charged at our affordable rate (see below).
Individual mentor coaching (3 hours)
The 3 hours of individual mentor coaching included in your Programme fee must be completed in full. You book these directly with your assigned mentor coach. If you need to cancel or rearrange an individual session, you must give at least 48 hours' notice. With less than 48 hours' notice the session will be treated as taken, and a further session, if you need one, will be charged at our affordable rate (see below).
Group Reflective Practice (10 sessions)
You must attend 10 Group Reflective Practice sessions. You may choose which sessions you attend. These are participatory sessions and must be attended live.
Our affordable rate
Additional individual mentor coaching sessions are charged at £95 per session. This rate is subject to increase from 1 April 2027.
COURSE ENGAGEMENT
Our Programme is designed to be interactive and engaging. We expect you to take part in Programme activities, including dialogue with your trainer and peers, coaching practice exercises, and experiential learning exercises. If you are unable to take part in an activity, please let your trainer know as soon as possible. Please refer to the Code of Conduct below for further detail.
